Meet Dr. Matthew Cline
Award-Winning, Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Matt Cline received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Richmond followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, the top clinical dental school in the nation. Dr. Cline then completed an elective general practice residency at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief resident and gained advanced training in all dental procedures. He practiced general dentistry for several years and was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor earned by less than 10% of dentists. His tenure as a general dentist gave Dr. Cline the skills and experience to adopt a holistic approach to dental and oral health.
With a desire to specialize in orthodontics, Dr. Cline attended a three-year specialty residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Saint Barnabas Hospital in New York City. As a board-certified Orthodontist, Dr. Cline has exclusively practiced orthodontics for over 10 years, providing his patients with the most advanced, efficient treatment options and exceptional results that improve their dental aesthetics and health.
Dr. Cline launched All Star Orthodontics in 2014 with a commitment to offering a superior patient experience and unmatched customer service at an affordable cost. He and his highly skilled team have successfully treated thousands of patients in the central Virginia region and have been voted Richmond’s Favorite Family Orthodontist by Style Weekly for multiple years. Dr. Cline also founded and leads the Richmond Spear Study Club, designed to collaborate with other local dentists and specialists to stay current on how to provide the best treatment outcomes for patients.
Dr. Cline and his wife live in the West End with their three children.
